The sausage tastes great with the elk I got this year. Thanks so much for the recipe and well documented recipe! I'll be making a triple batch soon!Unknownhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/03815621716054675676noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-7112069886740578370.post-25627677970559076902017-11-17T10:54:04.543-08:002017-11-17T10:54:04.543-08:00Can we just freeze the sausages after making them ...Can we just freeze the sausages after making them and grill or smoke them later on, instead of smoking them the next day?Anonymoushttps://www.blogger.com/profile/07157891551146261766noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-7112069886740578370.post-65958684489559938262016-03-19T10:19:20.841-07:002016-03-19T10:19:20.841-07:00Thanks for such thorough instructions, it was very...Thanks for such thorough instructions, it was very helpful to me (7 years after your original post date). I used 90% beef instead of Venison without adding any extra fat. Hopefully that will work out. Seemed the it was a little heavy on the jalapenos, but we'll have to see.
BTW, do those natural pig intestines always stink that bad when you open the bag? LOL I though I might have got a bad batch. After a good cold soaking and running water through them really seemed to tame them down.
Big Joe
Anonymoushttps://www.blogger.com/profile/03059699654410882079noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-7112069886740578370.post-75566011516611849552013-11-03T08:21:13.023-08:002013-11-03T08:21:13.023-08:00I'm always looking for new venison recipes. My wife is expert on the field actually. I just let her do it alone (and that’s what she prefers too, I guess :p). I, on the other hand, just waiting, preparing myself to eat. :D

Alex Staff
Alexhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/09497689934164882216noreply@blogger.com
